Dr. David Dorries is a teacher and writer focusing upon the richness of our Christian heritage with emphasis upon revival history and the Holy Spirit’s renewal. He earned his Ph.D. in Church History at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland (1988). For 22 years he was Professor of Church History and Theological Librarian at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also has served on the faculties of The King’s University in Southlake, Texas and Oslo International Bible College in Oslo, Norway.  Dr. Dorries is an ordained minister, and has pastored churches in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Massachusetts. He is the author of five books and numerous articles. He is married to Mary Alice and is the father of three sons: Paul, Davis and John.
